We’ve been hearing rumors for a while that a Fox News contributor was going to be joining the Trump administration.

We now know who it will be.

Not Laura Ingraham.

But Monica Crowley.

Crowley has been tapped by President-elect Donald Trump to serve as deputy national security adviser.

Crowley is an FNC contributor, as well as a syndicated radio host and Washington Timescontributor.

From The Hill:

Monica Crowley has confirmed to The Hill that she will be chosen to serve as a deputy national security adviser in President-elect Donald Trump’s administration.

Crowley, a former Fox News analyst as of Thursday, has been rumored for a position since the Republican’s victory on Nov. 8.

“It would be an honor to serve in the new administration,” Crowley told The New York Post on Nov. 27.

Upon hearing the news of her appointment, Fox News terminated Crowley’s contract, effective immediately, a network spokesperson tells The Hill.

She is also a syndicated radio host and Washington Times contributor.

Crowley, 48, began her political career as a foreign policy assistant to former President Richard Nixon from 1990 to 1994, well after he resigned from office.

She is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations and earned a Ph.D. from Columbia University in international affairs.

Crowley has been a staunch critic of the Obama administration during the last eight years, especially former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s policy positions.

Crowley sounds more than qualified for the position.

Let’s hear your thoughts on this announcement.
