If you’ve been even remotely following this past presidential election, then obviously you’re aware that indeed “foreign influence” played a role within our election process. The most obvious of course was Julian Assange’s weekly email dump via WikiLeaks of Clinton’s hacked emails, along with emails from the DNC.
Which may have ultimately helped Donald Trump’s bid for the White House, and while Clinton supporters and the loony left are furious about “foreign influence” what isn’t in doubt are the contents within those emails, that publicly “outs” a corrupt and incompetent candidate, along with a political party (the DNC), that willfully sabotaged the campaign of Bernie Sanders, by rigging debate questions at a town hall debate forum, in favor of Hillary Clinton.
Moreover this latest attempt by perhaps the two most disingenuous media outlets, namely the Washington Post, and the New York Times, in pushing the new “blame game” of so-called “fake news” in explaining Clinton’s resounding defeat on November 9th.
Remarkably both these “rags” are at it again, with banner headlines and shocking stories, similar to the baseless allegations and innuendo that dogged the Trump campaign for almost 16-months, with unnamed sources, and with no factual evidence to back up their libelous lies.
This latest claim has Russian President Vladimir Putin interfering in our election and helping Trump get elected.
And there lies the rub, in that thus far there isn’t a shred of actual evidence, only the same bluster and allegations from the mainstream media, with yet another “shocking exposé” by the Washington Post; “The CIA has concluded in a secret assessment that Russia intervened in the 2016 election to help Donald Trump win the presidency, rather than just to undermine confidence in the U.S. electoral system, according to officials briefed on the matter.”
However the FBI drew a much different conclusion; “For much of the summer, the F.B.I. pursued a widening investigation into a Russian role in the American presidential campaign. Agents scrutinized advisers close to Donald J. Trump, looked for financial connections with Russian financial figures, searched for those involved in hacking the computers of Democrats, and even chased a lead, which they ultimately came to doubt, about a possible secret channel of email communication from the Trump Organization to a Russian bank”.
Thus far law enforcement officials say that; “none of the investigations so far have found any conclusive or direct link between Mr. Trump and the Russian government. And even the hacking into Democratic emails, F.B.I. and intelligence officials now believe, was aimed at disrupting the presidential election rather than electing Mr. Trump.”
