CIA Director John Brennan issued a stern warning to Donald Trump just days before he takes office. He told him not to go easy on Russia and end their sanctions and then wanred him to watch what he says.
Pretty bold for a guy who got more wrong than right in his time at the CIA. Pretty c owardly for a guy who is about to lose his job.
Brennan went after Trump for comparing U.S. intelligence agencies to Nazi Germany saying,
“What I do find outrageous is equating the intelligence community with Nazi Germany. I do take great umbrage at that, and there is no basis for Mr. Trump to point fingers at the intelligence community for leaking information that was already available publicly.”
In his interview on Fox News Brennan questioned Trump for publicly raising questions about the CIA saying Trump must have confidence in the US intelligence agencies.
No free passes anymore Brennan. No particapatory trophies. You with do or you do not. And the CIA hasn’t been doing a good job.
That’s the most valuable thing Trump will bring to DC, a results driven approach. Under Obama it was you are what you say. Under Trump you are what you do.
