Hillary Emails: NATO Destroyed Libya To Prevent Gold-Backed Dinar
The recent leak of Hillary Clinton’s emails just keeps on giving – this time we got a confirmation that Libya was destroyed to prevent Gaddafi’s gold-backed dinar.
France led the UN Security Council Resolution and stated that the primary concern for the no-fly zone in Libya was the protection of Libyan citizens, but this was not the case. One of the 3000 leaked emails has confirmed what conspiracy theorists have been saying for years – NATO’s plan from the start was to overthrow Gaddafi in order to prevent the gold-backed African currency as well as Libya’s oil reserves. The email in question was sent to Secretary of State Hillary Clinton by her unofficial adviser Sydney Blumenthal and titled “France’s client and Gaddafi’s gold”.
Here’s what Foreign Policy Journal said of the message: “The email identifies French President Nicholas Sarkozy as leading the attack on Libya with five specific purposes in mind: to obtain Libyan oil, ensure French influence in the region, increase Sarkozy’s reputation domestically, assert French military power, and to prevent Gaddafi’s influence in what is considered “Francophone Africa.” Most astounding is the lengthy section delineating the huge threat that Gaddafi’s gold and silver reserves, estimated at “143 tons of gold, and a similar amount in silver,” posed to the French franc (CFA) circulating as a prime African currency.”
The gold was accumulated before the rebellion and was going to establish a pan-African gold currency as an alternative to the French franc (CFA). According to experts, Libya’s gold reserves were worth more than $7 billion. When French President Nikola Sarkozy learned of Gaddafi’s plans, he decided to attack Libya driven by the desire to increase the French influence in North Africa, squash the gold-backed dinar and of course, to gain more share of the Libyan oil production.
Gaddafi has previously warned Europe that his fall would result in Islamic extremism in the West, but his warning was not taken seriously. And, why would it? What are a few lives worth when politicians and the elite can profit from it all?
