President Obama and first lady Michelle Obama are gearing up for their final blowout bash at the White House, with a guest list that reportedly includes some major Hollywood heavyweights.
Among the VIPs who could make the cut on the Friday fete’s invite list at 1600 Pennsylvania Ave.: Oprah Winfrey (who snagged a farewell interview with FLOTUS that aired last month), Beyonce and Jay-Z, Samuel L. Jackson, Stevie Wonder and Academy Award-winner Bradley Cooper, according to The Washington Post.
“We are going to have a big party before we leave office,” the commander in chief said during an interview with People magazine last month. “It’s going to be kind of a grown-up party,” he said in response to a question submitted by a young girl.
The Obamas threw another star-studded affair just a few months ago to celebrate the president’s 55th birthday in August, with celebs such as Ellen DeGeneres, Sarah Jessica Parker, Will Ferrell and Magic Johnson among the many revelers.
The White House didn’t immediately respond to ITK’s request for comment about the shindig.
